What are life tables ?
A life table is a tool that tracks if an individual will live to a certain age due to their population. It takes data on how many people live in a certain amount of space. LIfe tables are used by life insurance industries to predict how long people will live. When analyzing life tables researchers find the most vulnerable times of an individual’s life and then use a life table to find ways to help that individual and it’s species survive.
